Kalnica makes an excellent satring point for mountain trekking ( the starting point for the red trail Kalnica – Smerek – Przełęcz Orłowicza – Krysowa – Bacówka „Jaworzec” – Kalnica can be found 1.5 km away), cycling trips (e.g. „Sine Wiry” Reservation – one of the most popular tourist attractions in teh Bieszczady mountains. It is worth visiting due to its picturesque old river bed and the gorges of the Wetlinka, river steps and the remains of the landslide trough and Emerald Lake), as well as for relaxing walks (this is where a historic route of „The Bieszczady Retrieved”, created by the local Society for the Development of Wetlina and Neighbouring Area, has been marked and described, including three non-existing villages of Zawoj, Luh and Jaworzec, with the remains of old Orthodox churches and cemetaries.

- Yellow Trail : Przysłup- Jasło (further on Red Trail)- Okrąglik- Smerek (village).
- A trip along the road to Jaworzec Mountain Shelter, next along Black Trail: Orlowicz Pass and Smerek mountain top.
- A car park at „Przełęcz Wyżniańska” , next along Green Trail to PTTK mountain shelter, Pod Małą Rawką, and still following Green Trail along Dział to Wetlina village.
The village of Kalnica offers fabulous options for jogging, rollerskating and cycling – there is a picturesque asphalt road along the Wetlinka river, hardly ever frequented by cars.

In winter our Guests have also access (300 metres from our place) to a small ski resort offering a plater lift of 600 m. There are 3 options: a blue route of 850 m, a red route of 800 m and a black route of 650 m.)
In summer you can enjoy sunbathing on the rocky areas along the cooling Wetlinka river.
Near our Guesthouse there is a small village shop offering necessary groceries, cold beer and other drinks, as well as basic household products. Ca. 3 km away, in the next village of Smerek you will find several restaurants and inns offering local specialties.
